Improving the quality of end of life experiences

Published: 1st October 2015

A 2015 case study from the End of Life Partnership, who worked with local hospices and Clinical Commissioning Groups to understand a local population’s experience of end of life care through feedback from bereaved friends and families – to discover what made their end of life experiences better or worse, and what could have made a difference.

This submission demonstrates involving the bereaved in quality improvement, the value of relatives and carers sharing experiences, and quality improvement through difficult to reach groups.
