An evaluation should explain what you planned to do; whether or not it worked; and why the actions taken were or were not successful. You also
 need to consider any side-effects or unintended consequences of your programme.

In an evaluation you will describe your programme’s aims, its background, the intervention(s) made, your implementation and monitoring methods, the data collected, the costing, and the outputs you achieved. Remember to consider the audience to which it will be delivered. There are various methods of conducting a formal evaluation, e.g. process evaluation or economic evaluation.
